The Adventure Sleepover Whoohoo! Sabrina gets to sleepover. This idea started when I thought that Sabrina said that somebody could sleepover at her house. Thursday she said that she could sleepover at somebody’s house. So when I got home I asked my mom if Sabrina could sleepover and my mom said, “Yes.” So, I called Sabrina and asked if she could sleepover. Sabrina asked her mom and her mom said. “Yes.” Finally, Friday came and school went by so slow. When I was about to fall asleep the bell rang. Sabrina and I sat on the bus together. When it was my stop I got off the bus and walked up to my house and waited for Sabrina to get to my house. A couple minutes later I saw Sabrina on her bike. When she got to my house I asked my mom when my dad was going to be home. My mom said in a couple of minutes. So Sabrina and I played for a little bit. When my dad got home my mom grabbed the hamburger buns and we all got in the car and we left. When we got to the cross country meet it was just our high school kids because it was a pre meet for the kids to get started. The meet was at Mr. Ward’s house. He had a son and Sabrina new him because they are in the same class. I didn’t know him though. Then a little bit later he came outside and saw us. “I didn’t expect you to be here, Sabrina.” He said. “I came here with Alli.” Sabrina said. Then I whispered in Sabrina’s ear, “Let’s try to get lost.” “Ok.” Sabrina said. So we got up and started walking. Then my mom told us to watch Emily my little sister. I said, “Ok.” Then I told Emily to follow us. We started walking and Mr. Ward’s son started to follow us.Then Emily asked, “What are we doing?” “We’re trying to get lost.” I said. Then Mr.Ward’s son came up and said, “I’ll help you get lost.” “Ok!” We said.So we followed the trail until we saw all the parents. “Oh parents!”Quietly I said. So we turned around and went on another trail but we got back where we started. Then Mr. Ward’s son said, “Do you really want to get lost?” “Yeah” We said. “Follow me.” He said. We went on the gravel road to the back of his house and followed a different trail. Sabrina kept screaming because she ran into spider webs. So she made me scream. Then Mr. Ward’s son said, “If you girls get into any danger I will save you.” So when we got to a certain point Sabrina and I stopped behind a little pine tree and they kept going because they didn’t know that we stopped. Then we both started yelling, “Help, help, help!” They turned around and started running toward us and we popped up and started laughing. Then I said to Sabrina, “Hey, when he said if we get in any danger he would come and save us. I guess he really meant it because he came to save us when we were just pretending to be in danger.” Then when we started running to catch up to them they started running from us. When we finally caught up to them they started running again and went through his barn and out of sight. It was scary. Then I said to Sabrina, “Come on!” We ran through his barn and past a shed. Then I heard a bark. “Stop Sabrina” I said. We turned around and there was a dog on a chain. “Oh, it’s a doggy” I said. We started walking towards the dog to pet it but then it started to bark and growl at us so we screamed and ran. Then when we got to the gravel and there they were. “There is a dog back there” We said. “Oh yeah, he is old” Mr. Ward’s son said. “Can we pet him?” I said. We went back there and sat down and started petting him. Then when we were going back we climbed on his tree house attached to a swing set. When we climbed back down we went past a trampoline with a bunch of leaves and sticks on it. I wanted to jump on it. “You have a trampoline?” Sabrina and I said. “Yeah, you guys want to go jump on it?” He said. “No let’s wait a little bit.” I said. We went back where all the parents were and of course Emily went to go ask my mom if we could jump on the trampoline. Of course my mom said, “No.” Sabrina and I wanted to jump on it so we snuck behind a tree and went to go jump on the trampoline. On the way to the trampoline something was poking my foot so when we got to the trampoline I sat down and it was a woodchip. We got it out. Then we jumped on the trampoline until Sabrina said, “I hear your mom Alli!” So we quickly got off and walked to the front of the house. Then my foot hit something and when I looked down I saw it was this green poky thing and it had little needle like things all over it and it hurt. Then when we got to the front my mom and Emily were standing there and my mom asked where we were and I told her I got a woodchip stuck in my shoe and we were trying to get it out. Then my mom said, “Its time to go home.” “Ok” I said. So we left and when we got home Sabrina and I set up the stuff that we were going to sleep on and we stayed up till 11:00 or later. Then in the morning she had to go home. This sleepover changed my life because I got to meet somebody new. We aren’t really friends we just played together that one time. The sleepover was awesome. We did lots of stuff that was fun and I had a good time.
